Cretin-Derham Hall went on to win the quarterfinal game 3-2.


Cretin-Derham Hall's Michelle Fischer (8) looks to

in the 1st period. Fischer scored her first goal of
the tournament 3:21 into the game which
Cretin-Derham Hall won 3-2.


Benilde St. Margaret's Katie Bacon (17) scores on

Bacon would score both of the Red Knights' goals in
Thursday's game. BSM's Jordyn Burns (10) and
CDH's Brittany Carlson (3) were also involved in the play.

battle along the boards in front of Raider fans.
Cretin-Derham Hall would end up winners in the
quarterfinal match against Benilde St. Margaret 3-2.


Cretin-Derham Hall's Nicole Welch skates against
Melissa Borer (3) and Emma Shields-Nordness (11)
of Benilde St Margaret's. Welch would end the
game with one assist and led the team in
penalty minutes (3 for 6 minutes).


Cretin-Derham Hall's Lea Jondal (2) grabs for
the puck during Thursday's quarterfial
game at the Xcel Energy Center.
Jondal had 32 saves in the win over Benilde St. Margaret
and was named player of the game.
The Raiders move on to play Eden Prarie
Friday in the semi-final game.

Bacon would go on to score both goals for
the Red Knights in the loss against the Raiders.




Goaltender Samantha Geissler deflects the puck in
Thursday's quarterfinal game against Eden Prairie.
Geissler made 20 saves but allowed 5 goals in the loss.
